The death has occurred peacefully of Rosie Conway (née Cafferkey) at her home in Fahy, Ballycroy,  Westport, Co. Mayo surrounded by her loving and devoted family.  Predeceased by her husband Patrick and her brothers and sisters. 

 

Deeply mourned by her loving children Patrick, Johnny, Michael, Phelim, Mary, Sheila, Roseann and Niall, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

May Rosie's Gentle & Kind Soul Rest in Peace 

 

Reposing at her home on Friday, 28th August 2020 for family and her very close friends only. Removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Holy Family, Ballycroy arriving at 7pm. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, 29th August, at 12 noon followed by burial at Fahy Cemetery. Due to HSE guidelines for Covid-19 Rosie's Funeral Mass will be confined to her family and her close friends.  Your co-operation is greatly appreciated at this difficult time. 

 

Funeral Mass will be streamed live on the Church of the Holy Family's Facebook page. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies to the family can do so by leaving a message in the "condolence" section below. 

 

A sincere and grateful thank you to all those who cared for Rosie down through the years and in her final days especially Dr. Jerry Cowley, Public Health nurses Sharon Lee Moran, Sharon Talbot, Maura Doherty and Mary O'Donnell, the amazing cardiac palliative care team and her wonderful and loyal carers down through the years, Phil, Marion, Katie, Noreen and Margaret.
