McGLONE/VERHOEVEN (Ballybrack, Co. Dublin) – October 3rd 2025 (peacefully) in his mother’s arms and surrounded by his family at the Blackrock Hospice, after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity. Rua; dearly beloved son of Sinéad and the late Yohan, much loved and adored brother of Joshua and Jordi and pre-deceased by his grandad James McGlone. Sadly missed by his heart broken mother, brothers, sister-in-law Jennifer, nieces and nephew Paige, Freddie and Indie, his grandparents Ann McGlone and Sam and Rose Verhoeven, aunts, uncles, cousins especially Lee, his godson Milo, his good friends Maia and Alva, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

At the request of Rua’s family, could you wear something red on the day of Rua’s funeral.
Reposing at his home on Monday (Oct 6th) from 5pm to 8pm (all welcome). Removal on Wednesday (Oct 8th) to the Church of S.S. Alphonsus and Columba, Church Avenue, Killiney A96 RD63 arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill A98 Y952
