Rui Lopes, Main Street, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Lisboa, Portugal, November 12th. 2025, peacefully in the loving care of staff at Marymount Hospice, Cork. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, his mother Maria do Cèu, son Diogo, sister Rita,brother-in-law Miguel,nephew João, his work colleagues at Bernard Kavanagh and sons, Urlingford especially Tiago, extended family and a wide circle of friends both in Ireland and Lisboa, Portugal.

Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Urlingford (Eircode E41 XO38) on Monday November 17th. from 7 o'clock pausing for prayers at 8 o'clock. Private cremation takes place at a later date. Rui's family and Bernard Kavanagh and sons would like to express their utmost gratitude and thanks to Nurses, Management and Staff at Marymount Hospice for their care, kindness and compassion to Rui during his illness.
