Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, 9th April 2025.

Pre-deceased by her Baby daughter Ruth and brother Alex Shekleton.

Dearly beloved wife of Frederick and loving Mother to her son Edward (Adelaide), daughters Ann (David), Jennifer (Robin), Georgina (Thomas), Mary (William), Sandra (Andrew), Gwen (Damien) and Victoria (Stephen).

Precious Nanny to George, Harry, Emily, Chloe, Lyndsey, Jamie, Tyrone, Jensen, Mason, Rebecca, Samantha, Jessica, Jocelyn, Nathan, Shannon, Luke, Matthew, Louise, Charlie, Amber and Shea.

Remembered with love by her Husband, Son, Daughters, Partners, Grandchildren, Brother -David, Sisters-Ivy, Nora, Doreen and Sandra. Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nieces, Nephews, Relatives, Good Friends and Neighbours.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, on Friday, 11th April, from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral service in Bellasis Presbyterian Church, Drumgora, Virginia, Co.Cavan, eircode A82 TW99, on Saturday, 12th April, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Ruth, if so desired to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care, C/o any family member.
