Ruth Portillo (née Connolly), 2 Killaloonty Road, Tuam, Co. Galway and formerly of Carnane, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway. Predeceased by her father Frank, brother Joe and nephew Timothy.

Ruth passed away on January 7th, 2026 in the tender care of her family and staff of Galway Hospice.

Dearly beloved wife of Levi and much loved mother of Roisin and Mia. Ruth will be dearly missed by her mother Mary (Ruth's Mom), father-in-law Jose, mother-in-law Reiyna, sisters Maura, Francie, Collette and Ann, brothers Gerard, Kevin, Pascal, Charlie, David, Padraic and Austin, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, god children, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91HW58), this Thursday the 8th of January from 5pm with removal to the Church at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday the 9th of January in Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge at 1pm. Mass will be broadcast on parish radio 106.2FM and can be viewed on parish website http://www.clarinbridgeparish.ie Burial afterwards in local cemetery.
