Ryan McGeown

33 Greenwood Drive, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the kind and gentle care of the staff at the Mater Hospital Dublin. Cherished son of Joe & Louise (nēe Crawley) and adored brother of Conor & Joseph. Predeceased by his grandparents Mick Crawley and Joe and Anne McGeown, Ryan will be sadly missed and remembered with love forever by his heartbroken parents, brothers, Conor’s fiancée Shauna, nanny Susan Crawley, aunts, uncles, extended family, neighbours, a large circle of very close friends and by all who knew and loved him dearly.

Reposing at his family home on Friday & Saturday between 3 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Removal on Sunday afternoon at 1.50pm driving to Kehoe’s Bar Quay Street then proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 2.30pm. Thereafter driving to Castletown Cemetery Fatima. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Niall E. Kehoe Dixons Funeral Directors T042934240.

 

In Liverpool's red, his heart did soar,

Cheering for goals, he'd always adore.

Dundalk FC, his local pride,

In the stands, he stood by their side.

Ryan's passion for the beautiful game,

Lit up the pitch with his fiery flame.

Though he's no longer with us here,

it's His love for football will always be near.

Rest in peace, dear Ryan,

forever in our hearts,

Your spirit lives on, as the game restarts.

You'll never walk alone
