Sabina Burke
(née Higgins)

Sabina Burke (née Higgins),Kilcornan, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway and formerly of Shantalla Place, Galway, passed away peacefully at home after a short illness, surrounded by close family on November 6th, 2024. Loving wife of Eugene, daughter of the late Tom and Phyllis Higgins and sister of Marina, Clement and the late Seán.

Sabina is sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Mary and Bernie, Eugene's brothers Declan and Pat, their wives Noreen and Beatrice, her sister-in-law Nancy and her husband Brendan, her nieces and nephews, the wider Burke and Higgins families, her kind neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Dominic's Ward, GUH and the palliative care team for their exceptional and tender care.

Sabina will repose in Suaimhneas on the grounds of the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91 HW58) on Saturday, November 9th, from 4pm to 6pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 in St. Colman's Church, Roveagh (H91 XK 29) at 1.30pm. Mass will be broadcast on parish radio 106.2FM and can be viewed on parish website http://clarinbridgeparish.ie Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
