Sadie of Ardroe, Balla road Claremorris and formerly Purraunes, Hollymount, Co. Mayo and Coolroe Tinahely, Co. Wicklow, Sadie passed away peacefully in the Claremount Nursing Home Claremorris surrounded by her loving family on 15th March 2024 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, parents James and Sarah, brothers Hugh and Tommy, sister Madge.

Sadly missed and deeply loved by her heartbroken family, sons Tom and Brendan, daughters-in-law, Mary Teresa and Ann, grandchildren, Aoife, Cormac, Thomas, Brian and Claire, great grandchildren, Tommy, David, T.J., Mack and Mary, her sister Mary, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Sadie’s remains will repose at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) from 6p.m. on Monday evening (18th March) with removal at 7.30p.m. to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort, Hollymount, (via Purraunes). Funeral Mass at 1p.m. on Tuesday (19th March) with burial afterwards in Roundfort cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be streamed live on the Roundfort, Robeen and Carras facebook page.

Sadie’s family would like to sincerely thank all the staff of the Claremount Nursing Home for the care and kindness bestowed to Sadie during her stay there.
