Sally Ryan
(née Maher)
Sally Ryan (nee Maher) (316 The Lodges, Ballykisteen, Monard, Co. Tipperary and late of Coolbawn, Doon, Co. Limerick and Gurtavalla) August 15th 2025, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her parents Tom and Katie, brothers William, Paul and Tommy.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Peter Ryan (Bawn), son Peter, daughters Paula, Cora, Therese and Jane, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Eamonn, Conor, Rachel, James, Eoin, Ben, Sarah, Caoimhe, Samuel, Caitlyn and Thomas, sister Mary O’Dwyer (Greenfields, Cappawhite), brother Mike (Gurtavalla), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, former colleagues in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Limerick, kind neighbours, relatives and friends.
Rest in peace
Reposing at her home in Ballykisteen (E34 HF50) Sunday evening (17th August) from 5 pm until 8 pm. Arriving in St. Patrick’s Church Doon Monday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Doon cemetery.
The family would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for Sally during her illness, especially Staff of ICU, 7B, Prof. Peirce’s Team in UHL, her amazing Home Help Team and Dr. Caroline O’Connor Primary Care Team Tipperary.
