LINNANE (Née Lee) Sally (Sarah). Garryland, Gort, Co. Galway and late of Quakerstown, Boston, Tubber, Co. Clare. Peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family on the 24th of March, 2026.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Michael and Sarah Lee, sisters Brid and Mary, brother Gerry & his wife Nora and by other much loved family members and many friends.

Cherished and much loved Sally will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend Mickey and by her loving children Maria, Colette, Evelyn, Claire, Sarah and Gerard. Fondly remembered by her son-in-law Shane, by her daughter’s partners James, Barry, Donal and Mark, and by her loving grandchildren Liam, Cara, Tom, Kate, Éabha, Dáithí and Eoghan. She will be forever missed by her sisters Eileen Ryan (Dublin), Bernie Doyle (Dublin), Colette Lee (Tullamore), brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, godchildren, grand nephews, grand nieces, cousins, great neighbours, many friends and by the extended Linnane and Lee families.

Sally will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Thursday evening, March 26th, from 5.00pm until 7pm. Private removal from her residence on Friday March 27th with the funeral cortége arriving at St. Colman’s Church Tierneevin for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Sally will be laid to rest afterwards in Kilmacduagh Cemetery. House private please. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in her memory to Galway Parkinsons Association.
