(née O'Connell)
THORNTON (Inse Alainn, Coronea, Skibbereen): on May 31st 2025 peacefully at home in the presence of her family. SALLY (née O’Connell) beloved wife of David, loving mother of Jordan, Connor, Harry and Niamh, daughter of the late Paddy and Joan O’Connell, sister of the late Mary. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren Mia and Jack, Connor’s Partner Christina, brothers Mark and Brian, sister Anita, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12 noon in St. Barrahane’s Church, Castlehaven. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to Castlehaven New Cemetery.
