Sam Cherian Tharayil

Cherian Tharayil, Sam, 12th May 2025, of Finglas - Dublin and Pune, India; passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and friends in the wonderful care of the staff of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin; beloved husband of Bindu, loving Dada of Sherlyn, Arlyn, Ashlyn, and Kevin and cherished son of V.O. Cherian and Aleyamma Cherian.

Sam will be forever loved and deeply missed by his loving wife, children, parents, mother-in-law Renu Philipose, sister Somy, brothers-in-law Johnson and Biju, sister-in-law Bini, nephew Joel, nieces Jessica, Roshelle and Jewel, his extended family, neighbours and his wide circle of friends, especially his four-legged pal Junior.

Reposing in the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun on Thursday (15th May 2025) from 5 pm to 7 pm and again in St. Mary’s College Chapel, Rathmines on Sunday (18th May 2025) from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

Sam’s burial will take place on Monday (19th May 2025) at 11 am in Dardistown Cemetery, Collinstown Cross, Dublin.
