Formerly Main Street Portarlington County Laois and Ballymaddock Abbeyleix County Laois. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family while in the tender care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington. Loving husband of the late Rachel. Sadly missed by his adoring daughter Sarah, sister Elizabeth (Fletcher), brothers Ron, Cyril, Des and Arnold, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 F593) on Saturday afternoon from 2pm with prayers at 6pm. Removal on Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm (travelling via Foxcroft Street and Main Street) arriving St Paul's Church ,Portarlington for service at 3pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
