Peacefully, at Athlunkard Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Dolie and much loved father to Marian, Pat, Sam and Ed. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, sister Geraldine, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many band members and a large circle of friends.

The Funeral cortege will pass through Janemount Park, Corbally, en route to the Cemetery, on Tuesday (April 14th) at approx 10.40am, for those wishing to pay their respects to Sammy, while adhering to the current Covid–19 recommendations with respect to social distancing.

A private funeral will take place, due to government advice regarding public gatherings and with the agreement of the family. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to leave a message in the ‘condolences’ section below.
