Lindsay (Ballycullen and formerly of Fairfield Park, Rathgar) – 24 February 2026 called home in his 92nd year after enduring illness. Sam, dearly beloved husband and best friend to Vreni, much loved father to Tim, Stef and Jonny, appreciated father-in-law to Rebecca, Doris and Sheila and adored Grandad to Ciarrah, Cian, Darren, Joshua, Isaac, Enya, Shane, Eoghan and Elijah. Predeceased by his brothers Glenn and Winston.

 

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham, D14 W029, on Friday, 27 February from 5 - 7pm.

 

A private family committal will take place on Saturday morning in Mount Venus Cemetery.

 

A service of thanksgiving for Sam’s life will be held in Grosvenor Road Baptist Church, Rathmines, at 11 am on Saturday, 28 February 2026.
