Samuel Robert (Bert) Alexander

The death has occurred of Samuel Robert Alexander (Bert) Druminduff, Shinrone, Birr, Co. Offaly, peacefully in the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore on Wednesday, 3rd of July 2024, in his 97th year. Predeceased by his wife Gladys, his brothers Ivan, Tom, Dick and Ronald and his granddaughter Khloe. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family Robert and Anita, Nigel and Sandra, Thelma, Evlyn and John, his grandchildren Rhys, Mark, Glenn (Whitten), Jack, Aoife, Sam (White), Kyle (Alexander), Katie (Alexander), his great-grandchild Charlie and Charlie's mother Cassandra, sisters in law, brother in law, relatives, neighbours, friends and his two main carers Dick and Mary.

Reposing on Friday in Treacy’s Funeral Home (R42E125) Shinrone from 6pm until 7.30pm. Funeral service for Bert and remembering Gladys also who died during Covid will take place in St.Mary’s Church of Ireland, Shinrone (R42 WD83) on Saturday at 3pm followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining church yard.
