Sarah (Sadie) Rooney née Melia, Carrowrevagh Beg, Brownsgrove, Tuam, Co. Galway. Peacefully in her 97th year on December 1st 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff at the Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Sarah is predeceased by her husband Martin, parents Michael & Sarah Melia, brothers & sisters. Sarah is deeply mourned by her sons Michael, Vincent, Frank & Anthony, daughters Margaret & Eileen, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her many grandchildren & great grandchildren , relatives, neighbours & friends.

Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dunmore - H54NY61 - this Tuesday evening, December 3rd, from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Cortoon. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 12noon with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
