Formerly of Lackagh, Turloughmore, Co. Galway

On Thursday the 21st of August 2025, Sal passed away very peacefully at University Hospital Galway, with her loving family by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Michael Francis. Predeceased by her brothers Séamus, Jack and Michael and her sister Mary.

Sal will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sons Tom, Michael John and Leo, daughter Marie Smyth, son-in-law Brendan, daughters-in-law Fiona, Kathleen and Siobhán, her 11 adoring grandchildren Sean, Orla, Ella, Ronan, Cecilia, Kate, Darragh, Keira, Michael, Mary and Leo, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace

Reposing in 'Tearmann Mhuire' within the grounds of The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Oranmore (H91 XC61), on Friday the 22nd of August from 5pm. Removal at 6.30pm to the adjacent church. Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday the 23rd of August at 1:30pm. Sal will then be laid to rest with her husband Michael Francis, in Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.
