The death has occurred of
Seamus Dignam
Seamus died peacefully - at the age of 98 - on 21st December 2023 following an eighteen-month battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife Netta (née Whelan). Deeply regretted and loved by his children Ann and Lynda; sons-in-law Mícheál Murphy and Gerry McInerney; and by his grandchildren Daniel, Ruth, Joel, Hannah, Conor and Aidan.
Seamus will be greatly missed by the extended Dignam and Whelan families, his sporting colleagues at Balbriggan Golf Club, and by his many good friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West, on Friday (29th Dec.) from 5pm until 7pm. Arriving to Our Lady of Victories Church, Ballymun Road, on Saturday (30th Dec.) for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by cremation service in Glasnevin Crematorium at 12noon.
