Seamus Doherty

The peaceful death has taken place at St. Eunan’s Nursing Home, Woodlands, Letterkenny on Thursday 18th December 2025 of Seamus Doherty, 15 Orchard Grove, Ballyraine Letterkenny F92 RWV8 and formerly from Railway Road, Killygordon. Deeply missed by his loving son Noel, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins and extended family, friends and neighbours.

Seamus is predeceased by his wife Sally (2017), parents William and Minnie, sisters Maureen Deery, Kitty Doherty and his brother Liam Doherty.

Seamus’ remains will be reposing at his late residence on Friday 19th December and on Saturday 20th December from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Requiem Mass on Sunday 21st December at 11.30am in the Church of The Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine which can be viewed on the Parish YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657. Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery, Letterkenny.
