Seamus Doherty, Annagh, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on 29th November 2025.

Predeceased by his parents John and Sarah Doherty, brother Michael and nephew Gerard.

Beloved husband of Bridget and dear father of John and Marie. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife, son, daughter, son in law Will and John’s partner Michelle, his sisters Maureen, Bridie, Sile and Kathleen, brothers in law Michael, Peter, Jimmy, Owen and John Joe, sisters in law Mary Kate, Julia and Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Seamus will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Wednesday evening from 5.30 until 7 o’clock with the funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne at 8.30. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
