Seamus Farnan

The death has occurred of Seamus Farnan, Lisnagrieve, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Thursday 16th April 2026 peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridie (née Brannigan), parents Michael and Bridget, and his brothers and sisters.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his devoted daughters Sinead and Julianne (John Paul), brother Noel (Clones), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Seamus will repose at his home in Lisnagrieve (A75 WE12) on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 8pm and privately among his family, neighbours and friends at all other times.

Removal from his home on Monday morning at arriving to St. Michael’s Church, Annyalla for requiem mass at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery where Seamus will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Bridie.
