Seamus Hegarty

Seamus Hegarty, Farnagh, Longford . Peacefully on 12th December 2025 surrounded by his family. Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Julia, sisters Carmel, Brigid and Maureen and by his brothers Sean and Mickey (Michael).

Seamus will be sadly missed by his wife Sheila, sons Thomas, James and Paddy, daughters Sheila, Carmel, Michelle and Grace, daughters-in-law Cathy, Patricia and Niamh, son-in-law Glenn, grandchildren Seamus, Ciara, Nessa, Killian, Terence, Tadgh, Doireann, Blathnaid, Feilim, Erin, Cleo, Zoe, Isobel, Tyler, Cooper and Remi, sisters Julia Hopkins and Eileen McCullagh, brothers Timmy and Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday 14th December from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday 15th December in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 1.00pm, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.
