Seamus (James) Flynn

Formerly of Gartylough, Arva, Co. Cavan. Seamus died peacefully on 20th February 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home in the presence of his family. He is predeceased by his wife Ann.

Seamus will be forever missed and remembered with love by his family, his daughter Clare, son-in-law Gerard Kelly, brother John, nephew Christopher Flynn and his wife Edna, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

We hold you close within our hearts,

And there you shall remain,

To walk with us throughout our lives,

Until we meet again.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66 on Saturday 21st from 3.00pm concluding with prayers at 4.30pm.

Arriving on Sunday 22nd to St. Francis Xavier Church, Moyne for prayers at 12 noon, followed with a Cremation Service in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd, Cavan, H12 RF78 at 2.00pm.

Seamus's family would like to thank the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home for the care shown to him, during his time there.
