Seamus (James) Hanrahan,

formally of Doneraile, Co Cork

passed away peacefully on September 15th 2024,

surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the nurses and staff of University Hospital Limerick.

Seamus (James), in his 88th year, is predeceased by his brother Donal and his sister Margaret Cuffe.

Deeply regretted by his devoted wife Eily (nee Mackessy), son Thomas, daughters Martina Daly, Mary McDonald, Linda Dooley and Margaret, sisters Mary Wall and Anna Lupton, sons -in -law Mike Daly, Stephen McDonald and James Dooley, Thomas's partner Emma, grandchildren; Derek, Ross, Allison, Andy, Aileen, John- Anthony and Conor, great grand children Isla and Ivy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence, Derrianna, Revington Park, North Circular Road,Limerick Eircode V94X7YW on Wednesday evening, September18th from 5pm to 8pm followed by prayers.

Reception into Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, Limerick for Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday, September 19th.

Burial afterwards in Oldcourt Cemetery Doneraile, Co Cork

(The funeral cortege is expected to arrive in Oldcourt cemetery, Doneraile at approximately 1.30pm)
