Seamus Kane

Kane Seamus (Kilmacud, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballinteer) October 6, 2022. Peacefully, in his 90th year, surrounded by his devoted family and in the loving care of the staff at St Joseph’s, Shankill. Beloved husband of Una for over 65 years and loving Dad of Seamus, Linda (Cronin), Andrew, Susan (O’Brien), Ann (Condon) and Janet (Hickey). Dearly loved father-in-law to Deirdre, Kieran, Paul, Alan and Ódhrán. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, his 16 adored grandchildren Ed, Jamie, Dan, Jen, Romy, Conor, Tim, Ella, Cian, Amy, Mark, Sam, James, Alex, Matthew and Róisín, 3 great-grandchildren Fiadh, Sophia and Zoe, his sister Nuala, extended family and friends.

Seamus will be reposing on Saturday, 8th October, from 4pm to 6pm at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass on Monday October 10th at 10am in the Church of St Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. For those that cannot attend, the Mass can seen online using this link: https://churchmedia.tv/church-of-st-laurence-otoole-kilmacud .
