Seamus died following a long illness courageously fought in Galway University Hospital and with his dearly loved family by his side. Predeceased by his son, Stephen, parents Stephen and Penelope, sister Mary Casey, brothers Pat, Coleman and Michael.
Deeply mourned by his daughters and son, Yvonne, Diane, Karen and Michael, sisters and brother Bridie, Julia and Stevie, Karen’s husband Peter and
Michael’s partner Maria, his much-loved grandchildren, Zara, Deirdre, Emer, Jackson Sinead, Eva, Sage and Colm and great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, niece and nephews and his second family at Aras Mhic Dara where Seamus made wonderful friends. Words cannot reflect the warmth and kindness he received during his time there.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, (H91V1K8) Munster Avenue, Galway on Wednesday, 15 May from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Reposing again at home (Tigh Keane) in Cill Chiaráin on Thursday, 16 May 2024, from 12 noon with Rosary at 8 p.m. Removal on Friday to Séipeal Naoimh Chiaráin for Requiem Mass at 12 noon and following Mass he will be laid to rest with family in Kilkerrin Cemetery. House private on Friday morning.
