Seamus Lyons, Bekan Villa, Claremorris, Co. Mayo, peacefully at Mayo Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Julia, his sister Bridie Boyle, brother-in-laws Pat Fitzgerald and Eugene Dalton and nephew Michael Harten.

Seamus will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Bernie (nee Staunton), daughters Michelle and Karen, sons Micheál and Enda, sons-in-law David and Tadgh, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Karen, grandchildren Kate, Jack, Cillian, Ruairí, Aoife, Niamh, Clodagh, Séimí and Oisín, sisters Mary Lyons, Teresa Gallagher, Angela Fitzgerald, Martina Harten (Long Island, NY) and Eileen Dalton (Claremorris), brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and his wide circle of family, friends & neighbours.

Reposing at Donnellans Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral will arrive to Bekan Church on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 11:30 with burial afterwards at Bekan Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Mayo Roscommon Hospice. Funeral Mass can be livestreamed on Bekan Parish webcam. House strictly private please.
