Seamus McDonnell

Seamus McDonnell, Hammersmith, London and formerly of Shore Road, Belmullet, Co. Mayo, peacefully on 31st May 2023. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Bridget McDonnell, brother Michael and sister Kathleen. Beloved father of Patrick and Michael and adoring grandfather to Eliza. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, daughters in law Sarah, his siblings Mary Kerr (London), Tony (London), Seán (London), Josephine Fitzpatrick (New York), Tommy (California, U.S.A.), Claire Donoghue (Lakefield, Bunnahowen, Belmullet), Fr. David (Parish Priest, New Jersey), Christina Munnelly (Shore Road, Belmullet) and Paddy (New York), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, 15th June, at 12 noon at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Hammersmith, Augustinian Centre, 55 Fulham Palace Rd., London W6 8AU. Remains will repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday evening, 19th June, from 5.30pm until 7pm with funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday afternoon, 20th June at 1pm, followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.
