Seamus McElwee

The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Seamus McElwee, "Macalla", Currien, Fintown, Co. Donegal, F94 N7C3 (Retired School Principal). Beloved husband of Clare and loving father to Donal and Cathal. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters in law, Jennifer and Aimee and beloved grandchildren, Eunan, Éila, Thomas and Rosie, sister Sheila, brother Hugh and recently pre-deceased by his brother Sean, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

Seamus will repose at his home from 4 o'clock tomorrow Saturday 26th until 9 pm and on Sunday from 12 noon until 9 pm. Rosary both nights at 9 pm. with family time on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock on Monday, 28th August, in St. Colmcille's Chapel, Fintown, with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the facebook page at
