Seamus McKenna

The death has occurred of Seamus McKenna, Derrygasson, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, H18 P744, Tuesday, 2nd January, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Annie & Patrick, infant brother Patrick, sisters Elizabeth, Maureen & Gretta and brother Michael.

Seamus will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Philomena, sons Garrett (Catherine), Barry (Cathy), Darran (Denise) and daughter Edel (Brendan), grandchildren Jack, Callum, Alannah, Ella, Daithí, Pierce, Caragh, Michéal, Annie & Orla. Sadly missed by his sisters, Josie (England), Ann (Monaghan), Phylis (Dublin) & Antoinette (Monaghan), brothers, Patsy (Emyvale), Brendan (Dublin) & Christy (Clara), sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Seamus' remains will repose at his residence Wednesday from 3pm - 9pm and Thursday from 3pm - 9pm. Family time Friday morning please. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am at St. Patrick's Church, Corracrin. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimer’s Society, Monaghan c/o Peter McMahon, McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.

Due to the passing of Seamus, Barry McKenna Agri will be closed for the remainder of the week.
