Séamus Ó Cinnéide
Ó CINNÉIDE, Séamus - (Rathmines, Dublin, formerly of Glenties, Co. Donegal), Professor Emeritus of Maynooth University. Peacefully at home, November 13th, 2019. Beloved husband of Moira Higgins and adored father of Bríd, Áine and Caitlín. Loving brother of Patrick, Mary A, Bernard and Anthony, and grandfather of Francis James, Norah-Mae, Dubhthach and Louis. Sadly missed by his family, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues and many friends.
Wake at home Charleville Rd.Rathmines, Dublin, D06 W2R8, Thursday, from 3 p.m. Funeral Mass at the Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines on Friday, November 15th, at 11.30, and afterwards removal to his residence at Church Road, Glenties, Co. Donegal to repose from 7pm. Removal on Saturday November 16th to St. Connells Church, Glenties for requiem mass at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
