Séamus passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Predeceased by his brother Ciaran and nephew Enda. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his beloved wife Bernadette, son Niall and daughter Aoife, son-in-law Stuart and adored grandson, Ruairí. Lovingly remembered by his sister Kathleen, aunt Bernadette, nieces, nephew, the extended O' Grady and Walsh family, neighbours, friends and former colleagues at University of Galway. The O'Grady family would like those attending the funeral to wear colourful clothes to celebrate a life well lived.

Funeral arrangements
Friday March, 28, 2025 - Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 V1K8) from 4.30 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to New Quay, Co. Clare.
Saturday March 29, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Séamus on arrival at St. Patrick's Church, New Quay at 11.00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on this link. https://funeralslive.ie/seamus-o-grady/
Following Mass he will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
