Séamus Rogan

Séamus (James) Rogan, 16th January 2026, Ballyneggin, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, and late of Furnace, Newport, Drumkeeragh, Dromara, Co. Down, and Hanwell, London, peacefully, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents, Winnie and Patrick, his brothers Robert and Eugene, and his sisters Rita and Patricia.

 

Beloved husband of Anne (née Philbin), treasured father of Mary, and adored grandad of Mór, Sibéal, and Saorla, Séamus will be dearly remembered by them, his son-in-law, Mark, and by his sister Kate (Hughes), his brothers and sisters-in law, his nieces and nephews, and all those who loved and cared for Séamus.

Séamus will repose in St. Dominick’s Funeral Home, Newport, F28 H682 on Wednesday (21st January) from 4pm with removal at 5.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Newport.

 

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Burrishoole Cemetery.
