Seamus (Shay) Byrne

BYRNE, Seamus (Shay) after a short and courageous battle passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Beaumont Hospital on the 16th December 2021. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and best friend Colette, his cherished children Stephen, William, Louise and Robert, his beloved grandchildren Ava, Liam, Luke, Harry, Jamie and Zara, his much loved daughters-in-law and son-in-law Elaine, Georgina, Lynn and Martin, his sisters Margaret and Annette, brother-in-law Michael, niece, nephew, cousins and wide circle of beloved friends.

May he rest in eternal peace

Shay will repose at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday (19th December) from 1pm until 5pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday morning (20th December) at 11am in Church of Our Lady of Consolation, Donnycarney. Funeral thereafter to Balgriffin Cemetery.
