Seamus (Shay) Kavanagh

Peacefully in the company of his loving family while in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Forever loved and missed by his beloved wife Audrey and his daughters Suzie, Judy and Tina, his brother Seání, sister-in-law Minnow, nephews Jamie and Cal, great nephews Freddie and Joey, sister-in-law Liz, brother-in-law Georgie, his much-loved dog Lucy, extended family, neighbours and friends. Shay is predeceased by his nephew Jack.

May he Rest in Peace, Elvis has left the building.

Shay will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Tuesday 8th April from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral mass will take place in the Church of Our Lady of the Wayside, Kilternan at 11am on Wednesday 9th April followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park.

As a celebration of his life, the family kindly requests that attendees wear colourful clothing. All are welcome to join us at the Golden Ball Kilternan for light refreshments and to share memories.
