Seamus (Shay) MACKEN

The death has occurred on Monday, March 2nd of Seamus (Shay) Macken, Milltown, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath; peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by his parents John and Nora Macken. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Elizabeth, daughter Sandra, sons Enda, Barry, Aidan and Shane, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Pat (Wales), Sean (Dublin) and Michael (Milltown), sisters Nancy (Castlepollard) and Maureen (Cavan), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Shay Rest In Peace

Reposing at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar (N91 D232) on Wednesday, March 4th from 4pm to 6pm, followed by removal to the Church of St John the Baptist, Whitehall, Castlepollard, arriving at approximately 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 5th at 12.30pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private at all times. Family flowers only, please; donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice.
