Seamus (Shay) Rooney

Shay Rooney, 90 Sliabh Breagh, Ardee, Co. Louth. 6th December 2021. Peacefully but suddenly surrounded by his loving family in Beaumont Hospital Dublin. Shay is predeceased by his parents Frank and Maureen. Sadly missed by his loving family, children Michelle, Danielle, Nadine and Jamie and their mother Martina, his partner Joyce, brothers Gerry, Noel, Ken, Mickey and Alan, grandchildren Keelin, Jack, Tiernan, Cadán, Ruby, Frankie and Faya, son-in-law David, Danielle's partner Willie, Jamie's partner Edel, his aunt Nellie, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Shay will repose at his residence Tuesday and Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning at 9:30 am to the Church of the Nativity of our Lady, Ardee, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am. Burial afterwards in Old St. Mary's Cemetery, Ardee.
