Seamus Smith

Seamus Smith, Slanore, Crossdoney, Co. Cavan. Saturday December 25th 2021 (Christmas Day).

Beloved husband and best friend of the late Maura (nee Fitzpatrick). Son of the late Michael and Mary Kate and brother of the late Sean and baby sister Mary.

Seamus will be very sadly missed by his devoted family, daughter Bridie, sons Pauric, Seamus and Raymond, daughters in law Geraldine, Sarah and Roisín, his adored grandchildren Ciara, Aaron, Mark, James, Christopher, Kevin and Laura, his brother Micheál, all his relatives, neighbous and many, many friends.  

May he rest in peace.

Seamus will be reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan on Monday evening from 4pm until 6pm for family, neighbours and close friends please.

Removal from his home on Tuesday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumcor arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial will follow Mass to the adjoining cemetery.

Government and HSE regulations will apply with wearing of face masks, no handshakes and keep social distance.  The family invite you to stand along the route to the church on Tuesday morning to pay your final respects to Seamus and please use the RIP.ie condolence link at the bottom of this page for your messages to the family.

House will remain PRIVATE during all of the funeral, please.
