Séamus Twomey

Twomey (Coolicka, Donoughmore, Co. Cork) on August 31st 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family and in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice; Séamus, dearly loved husband of Eileen (née Nyhan) and loving father of Jim, Sinéad, Seán and Helen. Predeceased by his sister Máire (Mac Suibhne)

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sisters Mairéad (Mac Suibhne) and Nora (Kelleher), brother Mike, grandchildren Oisín, Ronan, Niamh, Conor, Liam, James, Stephen and Ciarán, daughters-in-law Dolores and Valerie, son-in-law Julian, Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in St. Lachteen’s Church, Stuake on Tuesday September 2nd from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday September 3rd at 11.30am. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery. Séamus’ Requiem Mass will be live streamed on mycondolences.ie.
