The death has occurred of
Séamus Ua Trodd
Ua Trodd, Séamus (late of Kilbarrack, Co. Dublin, and originally of Banagher, Co Offaly; Poet, Óglaigh na hÉireann with UN Overseas Services, former distinguished Secretary of Club Everton Soccer, Dublin, and noted photographer and artist) – 10th July, 2025 (peacefully) at Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Richard Trodd, his sister Eileen and sister-in-law Margaret (née O’Connor). Beloved brother of Valentine Trodd, brother-in-law of Catherine and uncle of Susan (Mc Donnell), Wayne and Adam Trodd and Hazel Trodd Uí Churráin, and their families. Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by his extended family; Colin McDonnell, Siobhan Trodd, Therése Deegan, and Daithí O’Churráin, his neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Greendale Road, Kilbarrack, on Wednesday afternoon (16th July) from 2pm to 4pm.
Removal to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Kilbarrack, on Thursday (17th July), for Requiem Mass at 12noon, with interment thereafter in the New Cemetery (St. Rynagh's), Banagher, Co. Offaly (due circa 4pm).
