Seamus Woods, Kinkeel, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Tuesday February 17th 2026, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret, his parents Patrick and Mannie, his brother Aidan and sisters and brothers in law

Seamus was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his loving family, Declan (Kathleen), Edel (Derek Donlon), Ursula (Jarlath Sheridan), Shea (Úna) and Elaine (James Gill), his adored grandchildren Sarah, James, Dani, Dean, Tara, Amy, Kayla, Ciarán, Evan, Aaron, Adam and Josh, his brothers Michael, Frank, Christy and Brendan, sisters Maureen Casey, Peg Duffy and Eileen Feeney, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all his extended family and his many friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Thursday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Seamus's remains will leave his home in Kinkeel on Friday morning at 11.30am and will travel to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra (H12DD79) arriving for a Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
