Sean Barrett

Barrett, Sean, Killiney, Co. Dublin. We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Sean in his 82nd year, surrounded by his heartbroken family, whilst in the remarkable care of Fern Dean, Stepaside.

Beloved husband and best friend of Sheila for 58 years, and a wonderful Dad to Sarah, Jaci, Lynda, John and Rob.

Sean loved his family deeply and will be forever missed.

Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Jane, and his sister, Marie. Sean will always be cherished and remembered by his loving children, his sons-in-law Daragh, Wewa (Maelíosa) and Dave, his daughters-in-law Sophie and Dee, and his 17 grandchildren who he adored and by whom he was adored.

Sean's kindness, generosity and warmth touched everyone who knew him.

Reposing at his home in Killiney (A96 A020) on Thursday, 9 April from 5pm – 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, 10 April at 12pm in Church of the Assumption, 3 Castle Street, Dalkey, A96 Y0P9, which can be viewed online at http://www.churchservices.tv/dalkey followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetry.
