Sean Barrett

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sean Barrett, formerly of Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Mount Jubilee Geesala, who peacefully departed this life at Dorset County Hospital on the 3rd of January 2024.

Sean was predeceased by his beloved daughter Caroline, and is now reunited with his parents Johnny and Mary, as well as siblings AJ and Norah.

He will be dearly missed by his surviving children Siobhan, Sean, and Richard, along with his cherished granddaughters Eleanor, Chloe, and Milly. Sean leaves behind siblings Mary, Kathleen, and Michael, as well as nieces, nephews, and a vast circle of family and friends.

The removal from Ireland West Airport is scheduled for Thursday, 25th January at 1 pm, with the funeral arriving at St Colmcille Church, Geesala, at approximately 3 pm. A funeral mass will take place at 12 noon on Friday, followed by burial in Geesala Cemetery.
