Seán passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday 28th October, in the care of the staff of Our Lady of Knock Ward, Blackrock Health Galway Clinic.

Predeceased by his loving wife Josephine (nee Lynch) and his sister Maura (Walker).

Seán will be deeply missed by his loving children, Seamus, Deirdre (Mitchell), Francis, David, Oliver, Ivan and Joseph, his son-in-law Micheál, daughters-in-law, Fiona, Caroline, Åine, Treeny and Meg, his eighteen adored grandchildren, his brother Frankie, sisters Teasa (McClearn) and Elizabeth (Pearson), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, members of the extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Seán will repose in Dignity Funeral Care funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on Thursday 30th October from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral cortége will arrive at St Brigid's Church, Portumna (H53 KF51) on Friday 31st October at 9:45am for Requiem Mass for Seán at 10am.

Burial will take place afterwards in Calvary Cemetery, Portumna, where Seán will be laid to rest beside his beloved Josephine.
