Peacefully at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his wife Gretta, his grandson Jason, his parents Terence and Elizabeth, his brothers Michael, Joe and Pat and his sisters Margaret, Tess, Maureen and Dympna.

Sadly missed by his daughters Marie (Ciaran), Michelle, Carol (Michael), Fiona (Colin) and Nicola (Tom), sons Joe and John (Colindra), grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square, Monaghan on Thursday (12/03/2026) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Removal on Friday (13/03/2026), arriving at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's New Cemetery, Latlurcan.
