The death has occurred of Sean Dominic Fitzsimons, Bexcourt Lawn, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan and late of Coppenagh, Virginia, Co. Cavan, 6th October 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and the wonderful staff of Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his siblings Thomas Ultan, Francis, Patrick, Kathleen, Owen, and Sr. Reparata (Toni).

Greatly loved and sadly missed by his beloved wife Kathleen, his loving daughters Sandra (Lance) and Aisling (John), his cherished grandchildren Sean, Dylan, Kieran, Liam and Kate, his sister Moira (London), sister-in-law Eilish, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, Co.Cavan

(A82YV58) on Wednesday evening from 6 o'clock until prayers at 8.30 o'clock.

Removal on Thursday morning to St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
