Sean Halpin, Rock Road East, Blackrock, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday 15th January, 2026. Sean loving husband of the Maurita née Magennis, dear father of Ronan, Niall, Tara, Fionn, Miki, and the late Shane, adored grandad of Anna-maí, Zofia, Claudia, Freya, Holly, Nola, Shay, Shona, Lír, Rio, brother of Marie, Ann, and the late Tom. Sean will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, daughters in law Lisa and Christine, son in law Arthur, Niall’s partner Gwen, brother, sisters, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Sean will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street (A91XW66) from 3pm to 6pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning from this home at 10.00am walking to St Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock (A91 DD56) arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am. Burial in St Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown (A91 XH75).
