Seán Harrington

Seán Harrington- Late of Goleen. After a long illness, bravely borne. Peacefully, in the gentle care of the staff of Schull Community Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his wife Janice, children Jack, Kate, and Tomás, brother Denis, sister in law Helen, in-laws in England and Rerahanagh, nephews, nieces and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Kit and Jackie, sister Anne and nephew Johnny.

Due to level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Sean's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.  There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and remember Seán by being present in Goleen village, socially distanced, on Friday, February 5th, as the funeral cortège passes through Goleen for the Funeral Mass at 12 noon in St.Patrick's Church, Goleen. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Schull Community Hospital for the exceptional care offered to Seán throughout his time there. In lieu of flowers, we would prefer donations to be made to The Friends of Schull Community Hospital. A collection box will be available in the church.
