Sean Henry

Sean passed from this life peacefully on Saturday November 25th surrounded by his family after having battled several major illnesses over the past 19 years. Having never lost his love of life he always valued the love of his family and his friends. Music was one of his true passions and getting to know the many traditional musicians personally was part of that, becoming friends and welcoming them into his music family. Sean is so very deeply and sadly missed by his loving wife Jody, the Henry, Brady, Jourdan and Cunniffe Families, friends, neighbours, Sean's extensive music family and his "best Friend" Seaneen.

Requiem Mass for Sean will be held on Thursday, November 30th, at 11am in Saint Brigid's Church, Portumna. Family flowers only by request. Sean has donated his body to NUIG for research and the family would greatly appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Care West and/or CROÍ.
